The fruit and vegetable products present on the farm are:
  • Gentile or Gentilina salad: leafy vegetable belonging to the Compositae family, with wavy, slightly crinkled, green or reddish leaves. The head has a slightly elongated shape and its weight varies from 300 to 400 grams. With a sweet and crunchy flavour, Gentilina has few calories and is rich in folic acid, vitamins A, C, D, E, K, fiber and mineral salts (potassium, iron and phosphorus);
  • Cappuccina or Trocadero salad: this lettuce is characterized by rounded heads, with large, smooth leaves that overlap one another giving it that typical hooded appearance. Cappuccina is very rich in fiber and has a mild sedative action. This vegetable also has few calories and is rich in vitamins A, C, D, E, K, fiber and mineral salts (calcium, potassium, sulphur, iron, magnesium and phosphorus);
  • Kohlrabi: the size of a grapefruit, kohlrabi has a totally edible stem and is rich in vitamin C, phosphorus and calcium;

Side dishes and salads always ready

In the fields of Eurofrutticola Sud there is a vast range of horticultural products, from fruit to vegetables, natural, fresh and genuine. Between these:

  • Spring onions: these are onions harvested while still immature, with a bulb forming. For this reason the flavor remains very delicate;
  • Red, yellow or California square peppers: they belong to the Solanaceae family, rich in vitamins C, B, fibre, and mineral salts such as iron, potassium, magnesium and calcium. The red ones also contain beta-carotene;
  • Radishes or radishes: white pulp, with a spicy flavour, they are the spherical roots of Raphanus sativus which belongs to the daikon family, a root grown in Japan. There are various species, in color and flavor.
